GoNow is a student venture built in Singapore. This page explains what we collect when you visit gonow.pink or join the waitlist. And why. We follow Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
What we collect
- Your email address. Optionally your dream destination.
- Visit information: IP address and the approximate location derived from it (country/city), device, operating system, browser, screen size, language and timezone.
- How you found us: the referring website, campaign tags (UTM) and the referral link you used, if any.
- Basic usage: pages viewed, how far you scrolled and which buttons you clicked.
- Anonymous session recordings of how the page is used (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement). Anything you type, like your email, is masked and never recorded.
- A device fingerprint: a one-way hash of technical browser and hardware characteristics (e.g. graphics card, screen, installed fonts, timezone).
Why
- To send you your invite and travel drops when we launch.
- To run the referral programme and the launch giveaway.
- To see which channels bring visitors. To stop spam and abuse.
- To detect duplicate or fake signups, so referral and giveaway entries stay fair.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers. Data is stored with our database provider (Supabase). To understand how the site is used we use analytics tools: Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, PostHog and Ahrefs Web Analytics.
